1946—Graduated from Kyoto Municipal School of Arts and Crafts

Study under a ceramist, Yaichi Kusube, who was decorated with

Order of Cultural Merit

Study under a ceramist, Kanou Mitsuo, professor of Kyoto Municipal

School of Arts and Crafts

1948—Selected for the forth “Japanese Fine Arts Exhibition”

1958—Awarded the first prize of Asahi Newspaper Company at the seventh

‘Asahi Ceramic Exhibition’

1964—‘Fuuhaku’, selected for the highest honor and the prize of Hokuto at

the seventh ‘New Japanese Fine Arts Exhibition’

1966—‘Cyoukou’, invited to exhibit at the Modern Ceramic Exhibition of The

New Generation (Collected by the National Museum of Modern Art)
